Home Insurance Building

The Home Insurance building, was built in Chicago at the turn of the industrial boom, in Chicago. In 1885, the building became the world's first ever Skyscraper to be built. The design of the structure was ahead of its predecessors because it was the first to use structural steel in its frame. It originally had 10 stories and later rose to a height of 138 ft (42 m) after two additional floors were added, in 1891. This was the poster I designed to commemorate the historical significance of the Home Insurance Building. I focused on the number of floors in the building, by stacking the typography
